Job summary

Paper Transport in De Pere, WI is seeking a systems engineer to design, implement, and support our server infrastructure as part of the IT infrastructure team. The role emphasizes reliability and availability of services and applications across the business.

You will manage M365 environments, on‑premise virtualization, and Windows server operations while monitoring resources and providing advanced IT support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a related technical field.
• Experience with enterprise IT systems, servers, networks, cloud technologies, and system integrations.

The role will monitor the systems to ensure the reliability and availability of services and applications.

Essential Functions/Specific Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Windows server environment, including patching and system reliability
• Monitor system resources for utilization, trending, and capacity analysis.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise IT systems, servers, networks, cloud technologies, and system integrations.
• Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex IT systems and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, resolve complex system issues, and provide technical guidance to other IT team members.
