Job summary

Knowledge Builders Inc. seeks a Systems Developer to design and implement solutions for the PCA application and related initiatives. You will work with C#, .NET, MVC, PL/SQL and other tools, handling authentication, data migrations, and reports.

You will mentor other developers and participate in SDLC activities across multiple projects. You will use Visual Studio, work with Oracle databases, and collaborate with IT teams to manage incidents, service requests, and releases.

Qualifications

• 84 months Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop web and desktop applications in Visual Basic, VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Web Services, MVC 5 and above, and WCF.
• 84 months Experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
• 84 months Experience with Oracle: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, views, creating tables, etc.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Use Visual Studio 2022 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF.
• Prepare scripts to modify Oracle tables, create indexes, triggers, views, etc., and code stored procedures and packages.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, providing guidance for debugging, securing and deploying applications.
• Use source control repositories (SVN, TFS, GIT) for code management and branching.
• Coordinate service requests and releases with ITS teams and stakeholders.
• Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM and escalate as needed.
• Report status of tasks to supervisor.
