Electronic Arts in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Systems Designer to shape progression and player systems for Apex Legends over the long term. You will collaborate across design, product, UX, engineering, analytics, art and production to take features from concept through live operation.

In this role you will design account progression, rewards, mastery, collections and challenges, mapping how systems connect and motivate players, and you will use telemetry and data to refine balance and take

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game design on shipped progression systems.
• Experience with live-service, multiplayer, or F2P games.
• Strong scripting and prototyping using internal tools.
• Experience delivering features from concept to live iteration.
• Ability to derive rules, models, and player flows from complex systems.
• Strong data analytics supporting design decisions.

Responsabilités

• Design progression, rewards, mastery, collections and player engagement systems.
• Prototype, implement, tune and iterate using telemetry and live-service learnings.
• Contribute to estimation, scoping and feasibility assessments.
• Partner with UX and Engineering to ensure systems are understandable and scalable.
• Clearly communicate design intent and tradeoffs to teams and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve Apex systems based on data and trends.
• Contribute to strong systems-design practices across the team.
