Job summary

Geon Technologies seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to apply lifecycle engineering principles and lead the design, deployment, and sustainment of complex enterprise systems. You will serve as the primary technical interface with Government stakeholders on solutions, risks, and recommendations.

You will drive automation, provisioning, and IaC efforts, ensuring technical integrity and consistent deployment across development to production environments while collaborating with cybersecurity, network,

Qualifications

Fifteen (15)+ years of experience as an SE in programs of similar scope and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; four years of additional experience may substitute for a degree.
Active Security Clearance Required

Responsibilities

Apply systems engineering across all phases of the system life cycle and lead design, deployment, integration, operation, and sustainment of complex systems.
Interface with Government stakeholders on engineering solutions, risks, and recommendations.
Ensure integrity and quality of engineering deliverables and work products.
Analyze alternatives and define deployment architectures, standards, and approaches.
Lead planning, engineering, automation, and execution of system deployments across environments.
Develop and maintain automated OS provisioning using Kickstart or similar methods.
Design and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks.
