This role centers on systems engineering, automation, security compliance, and administration of enterprise infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Systems Engineering and System Administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of security compliance requirements and best practices.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and networking concepts.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network devices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and network services.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, patch management, and system hardening.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and escalate issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and maintain secure and reliable client/server environments.
• Administer and support Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Implement and maintain system automation solutions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with security requirements and policies.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and devices.
• Perform system patching, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
• Support Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and network services.
• Assist with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Monitor system performance and availability, proactively resolving issues.
• Communicate technical issues, risks, and escalation requirements to management.
• Collaborate with customers, users, and team members to support mission objectives.
