Job summary

The Governor's Office of Information Technology is seeking a Manager of Systems Administration to lead a team delivering day-to-day operations of secure systems infrastructure for the state of Colorado. You will oversee service delivery across agencies, align work with strategic goals, and drive continuous improvement.

Preferred qualifications include AWS exposure or similar cloud hosting, an AWS Practitioner or SysOps certification, and experience leading enterprise change and innovation

Qualifications

• Five or more years in server/network/infra engineering roles, including at least one year in a Senior/Lead level.
• Three years in service delivery teams or equivalent experience.
• Substitution rules allow education substitutions for experience, but not for required management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and escalations for IT services across state agencies and OIT.
• Assign tasks and resources to business projects with project managers.
• Develop work plans, meet priorities and deadlines, and ensure policy adherence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address risks and drive improvements.
• Lead and support adoption of Native and Hybrid Cloud strategies.
