Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Systems Principal Automation Engineer to drive next-generation software architecture and high-precision control systems for manufacturing and automation applications.

You will lead edge AI, computer vision, and SCADA deployments, mentor engineers, and champion modular .NET frameworks while aligning with UL, CE, and NFPA guidelines. This is an onsite, full-time role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required.
10+ years in complex software architecture and industrial automation controls.
5+ years of dedicated experience building machine vision and AI/ML applications.
Agile/PMI project management training or relevant technical certifications are a definite plus.

Responsibilities

Architect high-performance software systems combining motion control, safety, and deep-learning vision for real-time inspection.
Lead ML deployment on edge hardware and build SCADA/HMI platforms for live visualization and remote operations.
Design real-time control frameworks across PLCs, CNCs, and motion hardware with OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, TCP/IP.
Establish modular C#/.NET libraries and manage releases aligned with UL, CE, NFPA guidelines.
Mentor controls engineers in design patterns, software architecture, and emerging AI tools.
