Are you ready to bring high-precision automated machinery to life? We are seeking a Senior Systems Control Engineer to lead the hands-on design, development, and deployment of sophisticated industrial control systems.

In this dynamic position, you will bridge hardware and software—transforming complex customer concepts into high-performance processing workstations. If you thrive on programming precision motion, integrating industrial robotics and vision systems, and seeing your code physically move multi-axis machinery in real time, this opportunity is built for you.

  • Precision Motion Control: Craft structured, low-level motion control code for high-accuracy platforms (Delta-Tau, Aerotech, ACS) managing multi-axis motion, lasers, and custom I/O functions.
  • Vision & Floor Connectivity: Integrate off-the-shelf industrial vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and drive plant-floor data networking across standard industrial protocols.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, QA, and sales to deliver turnkey systems on schedule.
  • Author robust software documentation, functional specs, and system interface guides to ensure long-term maintainability.
  • Support system acceptance testing and continually refine internal controls development methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Deep technical expertise in RSLogix/Studio 5000, EtherNet/IP, Point I/O, and OPC UA environments.
  • 7+ years of experience designing custom motion control and HMI software; 3+ years integrating custom machine vision applications.
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented design and structured software architecture for hardware integration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to read electrical schematics, and readiness for occasional customer travel.
  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline required (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven track record delivering complex industrial automation or custom machinery projects end-to-end.
Benefits:
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • 401(k) savings plan.
  • Profit Sharing & Bonuses
  • Life & Disability Insurance
