Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Senior Systems Control Engineer to lead hands-on design, development, and deployment of sophisticated industrial control systems for high-precision manufacturing equipment.

You will bridge hardware and software, implement multi-axis motion control, integrate robotics and vision systems, and collaborate with engineering, production, QA and sales to deliver turnkey solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

Seven+ years of experience designing custom motion control and HMI software.
Experience integrating custom machine vision applications.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in related discipline.

Responsibilities

Develop pre-sale controls concepts, schematics, and cost estimates for advanced semi-automated and fully automated processing workstations.
Write clean, reusable PLC logic across multiple platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi) with SCADA/HMI/OPC UA.
Craft motion control code for multi-axis systems and integrate lasers and custom I/O functions.
Integrate Cognex/Keyence vision systems for inspection and drive plant-floor data networking.
Collaborate with engineering, production, QA, and sales to deliver turnkey systems on schedule.
Author robust software documentation and system interface guides for long-term maintainability.
Support system acceptance testing and refine development methodologies.
