Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior system architect to define and document architectures for complex hardware/software systems in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure traceability from requirements to tests, and collaborate across hardware, software, and firmware teams to deliver integrated solutions.

You will own the system model as the authoritative design source, lead system reviews, and drive architecture decisions from concept to execution while navigating government expectations

Qualifications

• Strong engineering foundation in software engineering, hardware design, or FPGA development.
• 6+ years documenting and developing system requirements for new product design, development and testing.
• Experience as a lead system architect for complex hardware and software systems.
• Experience developing system architectures and design artifacts for hardware, software, and firmware.
• Hands-on experience with system modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, including SysML v1.x and/or v2.0, and willingness to adopt next-generation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize engineering workflows with automated processes to increase throughput.
• Ability to decompose complex systems into executable requirements and execution to meet government expectations.
• Strong technical communication skills for briefings to leadership and customers.
• Ability to influence without formal authority across hardware, software, and firmware.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

• Lead system-level design reviews and own the technical baseline.
