Job summary
Honeywell International, Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end systems engineering for large, complex NPI programs focused on pressure sensing technologies.
You will define system architecture and drive cross-functional execution to meet performance, cost, reliability, and schedule targets from concept through production launch. This role serves as the technical authority and program systems leader, collaborating with engineering disciplines and business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, product development, or sensor technologies.
- Proven experience leading complex NPI programs.
Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end system architecture for pressure sensing products.
- Drive large-scale NPI programs from concept through qualification and production ramp.
- Lead cross-functional integration across Electrical, Mechanical, MEMS, Firmware, Test Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and customers.
- Own requirements management, system definition, ICDs, and verification/validation planning.
- Oversee system-level verification and validation activities including performance and environmental testing.
- Lead design reviews and technical decision forums; guide trade studies and critical decisions.
