T-Mobile is seeking a Sr Engineer, Systems Architecture to evolve enterprise virtualization and platform architectures supporting OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes, and VMware. You will interpret performance data and studies to inform design decisions and shape platform standards.

Responsibilities include creating schematics, delivering architectures, and guiding associate engineers. This role emphasizes innovation, agile practices, and transparent collaboration within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 3 years related experience
• Areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and delivery of complex virtualization and platform architecture strategies to enhance technology infrastructure
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to clearly communicate platform designs, Kubernetes-based virtualization concepts, and operational standards
• Evaluate and interpret platform metrics, testing outcomes, and workload performance to inform architecture improvements and technology adoption
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement engineering solutions across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware platforms that meet business requirements
• Contribute to the design and operationalization of OpenShift Virtualization, including VM lifecycle management and platform integration
• Mentor and support the development of associate engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
