T-Mobile is seeking a Sr Engineer, Systems Architecture to shape enterprise virtualization across OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes, and VMware. You will create and revise platform designs, document standards, and influence architecture decisions.

The role emphasizes strong communication and mentoring within a collaborative team. You will evaluate performance data, drive improvements, and maintain technical documentation to support scalable infrastructure.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering or related field (Required)
• 5+ Years Technical engineering experience (Required)
• Strong architecture design and documentation skills

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and delivery of complex virtualization and platform architecture strategies to enhance technology infrastructure
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to clearly communicate platform designs, Kubernetes-based virtualization concepts, and operational standards
• Evaluate and interpret platform metrics, testing outcomes, and workload performance to inform architecture improvements and technology adoption
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement engineering solutions across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware platforms that meet business requirements
• Contribute to the design and operationalization of OpenShift Virtualization, including VM lifecycle management and platform integration (compute, storage, networking)
• Mentor and support the development of associate engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
