Job summary

University of Miami Health System in Miami, FL seeks a Systems Architect 2, MLOps Engineer to design, develop, and deploy clinical applications and ML/AI workloads across research and patient care domains.

You will build scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, and collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, and IT to translate models into production services while ensuring governance and compliance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Epic or Healthcare EMR certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in systems architecture, DevOps, or MLOps.
• Experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, Azure preferred.
• Experience deploying and maintaining production workloads.
• Major systems development and implementation experience.
• Healthcare or academic setting experience preferred; mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement infrastructure to support ML/AI workloads across domains.
• Lead complex projects with application integration and deployment.
• Mentor senior analysts and oversee project teams.
• Analyze current systems and recommend enhancements for operations and user experience.
• Design robust APIs and ensure data privacy and compliance.
• Coordinate with clinicians and IT for governance and deployment.
