Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a System Engineer in Seal Beach, CA to lead systems architecture for a rapid development program. You will create ICDs, ConOps, and system models using MBSE tools, collaborating across software, hardware, verification, and product management to ensure progress and compliance.

A TS/SCI clearance and 5+ years of related space experience are required. This onsite role offers relocation options, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required (US citizenship).
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with satellite systems or space-related applications.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain interface control documents (ICDs).
• Develop and maintain system architecture artifacts aligned with program objectives.
• Elicit, write, analyze, and manage system-level requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain ConOps documents capturing operational scenarios and stakeholder roles.
• Apply MBSE practices and tools to create and manage system models, traceability, and verification/validation mappings.
• Define and document interfaces between system elements and external systems via ICDs and interface specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural coherence and timely delivery.
• Support design trade studies, risk assessments, and technical decision-making; capture rationale.
