Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Systems Architect in Valley Green, PA to steer the connector product roadmap and lead an interconnect design team for high-speed backplane solutions. You will translate system requirements into architecture decisions for board-to-board and related topologies.

Ideal candidates bring a strong engineering background with 10+ years in IT/Datacom hardware and excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years hardware/interconnect experience in IT/Datacom.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and strategic direction for backplane connectors.
• Serve as technical face for strategic customers, including hyperscale accounts.
• Guide product roadmap with SI engineering, mechanical design, and PM.
• Deliver high-level technical presentations to stakeholders.
• Provide advanced technical support on complex problems.
• Differentiate HSBP products against competitors.
• Collaborate with other business units for a system-level narrative.
• Some travel required.
