Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Nashua, NH is seeking a Systems Architect to lead architectural design and strategy for high-speed backplane connectors. You will translate system-level needs into connector architecture and shape the product roadmap with SI engineering, mechanical design, and product management.

Responsibilities include presenting to executives, providing advanced technical support, and differentiating HSBP products from competitors; some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; advanced degree desirable.
• Background in both electronics and/or mechanical engineering with CAD exposure.
• Minimum 10 years in hardware/interconnect solutions for IT/Datacom.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical strategy for high-speed backplane solutions.
• Translate system requirements into connector architecture direction.
• Guide product roadmaps with SI engineering, mechanical, and PM teams.
• Deliver high-level technical presentations to stakeholders.
• Provide advanced technical support for complex interconnect problems.
• Differentiate Amphenol's HSBP offerings from competitors.
