Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of dedicated system architecture experience spanning SoC design, board development, and software stacks.
• Industry Focus: server, data center, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Specification Ownership: independently produce and maintain highly detailed, production-grade technical specifications.
• Customer Facing: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort interfacing directly with sophisticated enterprise customers and technical stakeholders.
• Education: B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Breadth: Silicon: SoC design flows, interconnects, and interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DRAM, USB).
• Board-Level: Hands-on hardware platform design, schematic capture, and lab bring-up tools.
• Software: Embedded firmware, RTOS, Linux device drivers, and low-level C/C++ programming.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Definition & Detailed Specification; own system architecture specs and platform requirement docs.
• Define rigorous system-level hardware/software partition boundaries and map register-level interfaces.
• Drive micro-architecture specs for high-security, AI-driven SoCs, including on-chip interconnects and standard I/O interfaces.
• Customer interfacing & ecosystem engagement; present architecture roadmap and whitepapers to customers and partners.
• Align technology with server deployment topologies and open-source standards (OCP DC-SCM / DC-SCI).
• Architect platform-level designs for enterprise server motherboards, BMS, and cloud data centers.
• Guide hardware and SI/PI engineers on signal integrity, power delivery, and thermal constraints.
• Specify secure boot flows, RoT, and Platform Firmware Resiliency frameworks.
• Collaborate to define interfaces for OpenBMC, Linux kernels, device drivers, and platform management protocols.
