Job summary

Axiado, an AI-enhanced security processor company, is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer in San Jose to drive products from concept to production. You will design embedded hardware, create specs, and run lab validation with cross-functional teams to deliver robust systems.

Requirements include 4+ years in hardware engineering (7+ years preferred), board design, Cadence tools, and experience with PCIe/DDR interfaces. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hardware engineering experience; 7+ years desirable.
• Board design knowledge with schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Familiarity with Cadence Orcad and Allegro.
• Interfaces: I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB.
• High-speed interfaces: PCIe, DDR4/5, Display/Network.

Responsibilities

• Drive product from concept to production.
• System design on embedded computing system products.
• Create hardware specs and develop test plans.
• Work with Layout, Mechanical and SI engineers.
• Bring up systems and validate in lab.
• Interact with cross-functional teams for technical discussions.
• Address challenging problems and multiple tasks.
• Engage and drive HW builds and procurement.
