Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in systems analysis, preferably with robotics or mechatronics.
• Master's degree or PhD with applicable experience or equivalent.
• Strong embedded C programming and hardware/software integration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of working independently and in a team.
• Experience with design, verification, and safety analyses of electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design new surgical platforms and instruments through control system analysis.
• Implement motion control algorithms for tele-robotic systems.
• Apply control theory to mechatronic systems and safety verification.
• Analyze dynamic safety and clinical risk for electro-mechanical devices.
• Create safety monitoring algorithms and document intellectual property.
