Job summary
MANTECH in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for an onsite overnight role (10:00 PM–6:00 AM). Initial location will be Chantilly, VA, with relocation to Arlington, VA as needed.
The role focuses on Tier II IT Systems support across VMware, Horizon View, AD/DNS, PKI, and Windows Server environments. Strong certification and DoD environment experience are required, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to ITIL processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Systems Support/Administration experience or equivalent.
- DoD 8570 computing environment certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server family and Active Directory.
- Experience with vSphere/Horizon View and backup solutions.
- Basic networking including DHCP/TCP/IP and DNS.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II IT Systems support across VMware, AD, DNS, PKI, and Windows environments.
- Diagnose performance, security, and technical issues on listed platforms.
- Write SOPs for repetitive tasks and contribute to ITIL lifecycle processes.
- Guide less-experienced Systems Engineers and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Participate in release packaging and integration into customer environments.
- Work the 10pm–6am shift, Monday to Friday.
