Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Network Deployment Engineer to join our Chantilly, VA team. This onsite role involves coordinating site deployments, conducting surveys, and configuring a secure network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 2+ years IT experience; alternative substitutions allowed as stated.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• DoD 8570 CE Certification required within 6 months (e.g., MCSA, VCP).
• Experience administering Windows servers (2008–2019), Windows 10, Exchange, AD, DNS, PKI, Group Policy.
• Experience with vSphere, Horizon View, data backup, antivirus software.
• Basic networking (DHCP/TCP/IP) and deploying workstation images; familiarity with thin/zero clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM; familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site deployments: planning, scheduling, and on-site installation.
• Conduct site surveys to document current configurations and user requirements.
• Configure routers, switches, computers, and peripherals; maintain secure network architecture.
• Provide daily IT support across client/server/storage/network systems; monitor and troubleshoot.
• Manage configurations, procurement, inventory, and shipping of equipment.
• Adhere to security directives and support architecture improvements via change requests.
• Travel up to 75% in the U.S. and occasional OCONUS for deployment activities.
