Job summary

MANTECH seeks an Intermediate Systems Administrator in Chantilly, VA to provide Tier 2/3 IT support and manage VMware and Active Directory infrastructure. Responsibilities include configuring ABAC-based file shares, maintaining Windows Server environments, and ensuring secure, reliable operations across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience (or 4+ years with a high school diploma) and a Security+ certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of relevant IT experience, or high school diploma with 4+ years.
• Experience maintaining hardware/software interfacing with the enterprise.
• Experience implementing Windows File Shares using ABAC.
• Experience leading junior admins and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VMware-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Active Directory and Group Policy infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain system/server configuration.
• Administer and support user and group management in Active Directory.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems architecture and configurations.
• Domestic Travel up to 25%.
