Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a national banking organization, seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support core banking applications on the Hogan platform. You will gather requirements, analyze legacy mainframe systems, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver technical solutions across banking operations.

The ideal candidate has Hogan and COBOL experience, understands SDLC methodologies, and is comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional business systems analysis in banking/financial services.
• Strong Hogan and COBOL experience.
• Experience with Hogan apps such as CIS, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella and RPM.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical specs.
• Experience analyzing legacy mainframe applications and supporting modernization.
• Familiarity with SDLC (Waterfall and Agile) and IT ticketing (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Excellent communication with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
