Job summary

Seattle City Light is recruiting for Management Systems Analyst positions in the Planning & Scheduling unit. The team reviews and coordinates capital and maintenance operations for roughly 300 employees across the North and South Service Centers, reporting to the Scheduling and Planning Supervisor.

The role involves analyzing problems, developing MIS solutions, and preparing reports. A two-year background in systems with a relevant Bachelor's degree is required; WA driver’s license is noted in

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science or related field.
  • Two years in systems, procedures, research or analysis with relevant background.

Responsibilities

  • Studies and analyzes informational, operational and management problems to determine needs.
  • Develops or assists in development and evaluation of management information systems.
  • Prepares comprehensive reports and memorandums outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Analyzes training needs, trains users in system software and controls; prepares diagrams and charts.
  • Performs other duties of a comparable level/type as required.
