Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field with 4 years IT experience OR 6 years IT experience with certification or courses
• Knowledge of application configuration and claims processing
• Ability to define and manage system requirements across functional and non-functional domains
• Experience conducting design & code reviews and system design creation
• Knowledge of Big Data Analytics – HAVeN / Hadoop / Autonomy / Vertica
• Familiarity with Cloud/SaaS/IaaS/PaaS technologies
• Experience with integration technologies like Tibco/Informatica/CAS
• Knowledge of Mobile technologies and web tech (PhoneGap, iOS/Android, HTML5)
• Experience with scripting languages (BASH, PERL, PYTHON, RUBY)
• Understanding of SOA (SOAP/REST) and modern web stacks
• Proficiency in SDLC methods (Agile/Scrum) and performance management
• Strong problem solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support enhancements and new capabilities for a critical Claims application
• Build and back-log system requirements for developers
• Lead reviews of requirements, design, and code; plan SIT and UAT testing and releases
• Collaborate with business analysts, owners, QA and IT teams including architects, developers, product and project managers
• Ensure timely delivery of high-performing, robust applications
