Job summary

At Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), a leading healthcare insurer, the Systems Analyst will enhance a critical Claims portfolio application. You will gather and prioritize system requirements, assist with design and code reviews, and help plan SIT/UAT testing and releases while coordinating with business and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and IT experience OR relevant certification/college courses with IT experience.
• Knowledge of application configuration.
• Knowledge or experience of Claims processing and components.
• Accountable for enhancements or new capabilities covering functional, non-functional and systems requirements to help build high performing, robust applications for the products.
• Help conduct and facilitate design & code reviews; expertise in system design creation.
• Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HAVeN / HADOOP/ Autonomy / Vertica.
• Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies.
• Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco/Informatica/CAS.
• Knowledge of Mobile technologies - Phonegap / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5.
• Knowledge of Scripting Languages - BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY.
