Arizona State University’s Engineering Technical Services team is seeking an Application Systems Analyst Sr. to design, implement, and manage platforms across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will automate workflows, maintain infrastructure, and support research, teaching, and service delivery with IaC, CI/CD, and Power Platform tooling. This role combines hands‑on systems administration with automation, requires documenting processes, and partnering with stakeholders to improve

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows and Linux server environments across physical, virtualized, and cloud‑hosted platforms.
• Experience supporting AWS, Azure, Hyper‑V, and physical datacenter‑hosted workloads.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience participating in CI/CD workflows for infrastructure, configuration, automation, or application support.
• Experience with PowerShell, automation scripting, APIs, webhooks, JSON, and workflow automation tools.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, endpoint configuration baselines, operating system deployment, application deployment, and endpoint reporting.
• Experience with Active Directory administration, Group Policy, security groups, delegation, access automation, and identity‑integrated services.
• Experience building Microsoft 365 or Power Platform workflows.
• Experience developing reports from ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Active Directory, or monitoring platforms.
• Experience leveraging AI‑assisted development, automation or operational support tools.
• Experience supporting monitoring, backup, vulnerability response, incident response, compliance, documentation, and operational assurance processes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow‑integrated workflows, event‑driven automation, and operational service management.
• Ability to document technical processes, maintain supportable automation, and work within version‑controlled or peer‑reviewed workflows.
