Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for an onsite role in Dallas, TX. You will analyze REST APIs and JSON payloads across distributed microservices, perform hands-on API testing with Bruno/Postman, and create comprehensive documentation.

The role requires strong API knowledge, SQL, AWS, and experience with Jira/Confluence in an agile environment. You will validate API versioning efforts, use monitoring tools like Splunk, and coordinate release readiness across teams to ensure production

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience supporting software solutions in financial services or enterprise technology environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong REST API / JSON knowledge and API integration patterns.
• Proven SQL experience.
• AWS experience and familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence in an agile/scrum environment.
• Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot microservice architecture (hands-on coding not required).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate REST APIs and JSON payloads across distributed microservices.
• Perform hands-on API testing using tools such as Bruno, Postman, or equivalent.
• Create and maintain documentation (process flows, system diagrams, data mappings, dependency maps, solution documentation).
• Write detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support API versioning/migration efforts through impact analysis, regression validation, and contract comparisons.
• Use log/monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk) to investigate issues and support production readiness.
• Coordinate release readiness and communicate across teams as needed.
