Job summary

Yoh Services LLC seeks a Software Developer / Technical Support Engineer in Dallas for a 12-month contract hybrid role. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale applications, APIs, and UI components, while supporting production incidents and deployments.

Strong skills in Java/Python, databases, and modern data tools are required. The position combines development with integration work across systems, fosters collaboration with IT leadership, and offers exposure to cloud workloads

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale applications.
• Strong experience with Java and/or Python.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs and web services.
• 7+ years with databases and data technologies: PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Kafka, NiFi, Elasticsearch.
• Strong SQL development and scripting skills.
• 2+ years of front-end development with Angular, React, JavaScript.
• 5+ years of CI/CD and build tools (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins).
• 4+ years of cloud experience (GCP, Kubernetes).
• 4+ years of test automation, SRE monitoring, and synthetic monitoring.
• 2+ years of SSRS Reporting and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-scale applications and integrations.
• Build and support backend services, APIs, and web services.
• Develop and enhance UI components using modern front-end technologies.
• Support production incidents, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
• Work with messaging, monitoring, and integration frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, IT leadership, and business teams to gather and refine requirements.
• Create and maintain SQL scripts and work with large datasets.
• Participate in CI/CD processes and build automation initiatives.
• Contribute to test automation, monitoring, and application reliability efforts.
