Job summary

Eliassen Group in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to drive delivery at the intersection of business analysis and technical solutioning on the Digital Platforms Technology team.

You will partner with Product Owners, Developers, QA, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver digital experiences, owning end-to-end initiatives and aligning with engineering and leadership.

Our client seeks a Senior Systems Analyst for the Digital Platforms Technology team. The role operates at the intersection of business analysis, technical solutioning, and project delivery leadership. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, Architects, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, define solutions, and deliver digital experiences. You will contribute on a delivery team while owning end-to-end delivery of initiatives and ensuring alignment across partners, engineering, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Analyze existing systems, workflows, and integrations to recommend scalable solutions aligned with business goals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, data flows, and process diagrams.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support API analysis, data mapping, and integration design.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure feasibility and design alignment.
• Participate in testing phases, including defect triage, validation, and production support.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives from intake through production deployment.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and delivery roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Drive Agile ceremonies including planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations to ensure timely resolution.
• Track and report on delivery progress, KPIs, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Facilitate decision-making and alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, and release management processes.

• Experience managing technology projects or product deliveries.
• Understanding of project planning, estimation, and tracking.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar ALM tools.
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Success delivering complex initiatives in fast-paced environments.
• Nice to have: background in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Nice to have: experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Nice to have: knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Nice to have: familiarity with QA automation frameworks.
