Hybrid 3 days onsite in Boston, MA

Our client seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and Technology across business development, client service, client reporting, marketing production, RFP writing, and related functions. The role analyzes processes, systems, and data to deliver scalable solutions, improve existing applications, and reduce operational risk. Work includes strategic initiatives, application enhancements, systems integration, production support, and contributions to roadmaps across client reporting, CRM and marketing technology, business intelligence, AI initiatives, and enterprise data platforms. The environment is collaborative and fast paced with close partnership between business and technical teams. This position follows a hybrid model with three days per week onsite in Boston.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $90.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders and Technology to define and deliver solutions.
• Build partnerships with users to understand objectives and translate needs into user stories and functional specifications.
• Analyze processes, systems, and data to improve efficiency, data quality, controls, and user experience.
• Document workflows, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, and data governance requirements.
• Participate in solution design, testing, implementation, and post-production validation.
• Develop test scenarios, coordinate UAT, and validate production releases.
• Investigate, prioritize, and drive resolution of production issues.Produce documentation, knowledge articles, and user training materials.
• Partner with other IT delivery teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to product roadmaps and long-term technology planning.
• Conduct meetings and drive collaboration between business and technical teams.

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Business Architect in investment management or investment software.
• Strong knowledge of investment management concepts including clients, accounts, securities, cash flows, performance measurement, and client reporting.
• Proven expertise in two or more domains: Client Reporting, Investment Operations, Performance Measurement, Fund Accounting, CRM, Market Data, Trading.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating requirements in Agile environments.
• Effective communication with business and technical stakeholders, with ability to set priorities and manage expectations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with relational databases, APIs, JSON/XML, web services, and modern application architectures.
• Experience with data modeling and BI tools (Tableau preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce, Seismic, SimCorp Coric, or similar CRM and client reporting platforms preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise master data platforms preferred.
• Exposure to AWS, AI technologies, and modern software development practices preferred.
• Domain strengths such as client reporting, client service, sales and marketing systems, CRM, investment operations, and backgrounds in wealth management, fixed income, performance reporting, or portfolio accounting are valued.
• Soft skills include strong listening, confident communication, self-starting, independent problem solving, and consultative stakeholder engagement.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required. MBA or CFA preferred.
