Job summary

Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC) is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage VDI Thin Client networks across secured environments. You will work with VMware, VOIP, Teams, and Windows Server, reporting to senior leaders in a Joint Operations Center.

A strong security mindset and DoD-style discipline are essential. You will lead deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensure STIG compliance, and support after-hours on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of Tier 3 System or Network Administrator experience focusing on VDI networks in both classified and non-classified environments.
• Active security certification in ACTIVE status at start date.
• Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, McAfee products, VDI Thin Client networks, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Proven experience applying DISA STIGs and managing VMware environments.
• Strong AD and Group Policy experience and SCCM deployment and compliance.
• SAN management experience and ability to gain IMO Level 4 access.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and administration for VDI Thin Client networks across secure and non-secure networks.
• Configure and optimize VDI Thin Client systems with storage and networking solutions.
• Deploy software and security patches for VDI environments and maintain system uptime.
• Manage security and access controls in accordance with standards and policies.
• Document SOPs, workflows, and configurations; update routine tasks.
• Support VOIP phones and Microsoft Teams integration; assist senior leaders.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Prepare periodic status reports on uptime, incidents, and open issues.
