Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Systems Administrator Senior in Anchorage to support US Army INSCOM missions. You will administer desktop and server systems, configure OS and software, and ensure security controls meet DoD standards.

The role includes on-site daily support, escalation handling, and collaboration with government teams. Ideal candidates have a TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years of related experience (4+ specialized), and DoD/IA certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years related experience in lieu of degree
• 8+ years related experience with at least 4 years specialized experience
• TS/SCI clearance required
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 CE Certification required
• IAT II 8570/8140 Security+ or equivalent
• Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or equivalent (to be obtained within 180 days)
• On-customer-site daily support
• Willingness to undergo CI Polygraph if required
• Physical ability for IT hardware handling
• Travel may be required

Responsibilities

• System administration of desktop and server systems
• Install, configure, and maintain OS and applications
• Troubleshoot IT systems and hardware/ software problems
• Provide Tier 1 and 2 support and escalations
• Monitor and manage client/server/storage/network devices
• Assist with security and access controls
• Guide project assignments and evaluate staff work
• Support transitions and migrations of systems
