Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage highly available systems and drive automation in a government services context. This role requires TS clearance and experience with Windows and/or Linux servers, IaC, and cloud platforms.

You will lead infrastructure optimization, provide mentorship, and ensure secure, compliant operations while collaborating across hybrid environments and on-premises data centers in a complex federal setting.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Strong knowledge of IaC and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with cloud and hybrid-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of system monitoring, backup, disaster recovery and performance optimization.
• Experience with patch management, automation, and enterprise security controls.
• Air-gapped hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, including GovCloud/C2S and OpenShift/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain highly available systems across enterprise environments.
• Drive automation using IaC and configuration management tools.
• Implement and optimize system reliability, performance, and security controls.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture through secure infrastructure practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to systems administration teams.
• Promote standardization of system configurations and procedures.
• Lead system optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor system health and resolve issues to ensure continuous availability.
