Job summary

World Wide Technology, Chantilly, VA, seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to provision, configure, and maintain highly available systems while driving automation and secure infrastructure management. You will lead IaC initiatives, mentor teams, and strengthen cybersecurity posture across enterprise environments.

The role emphasizes orchestration with IaC tools, container platforms, and cross-domain security compliance within government services.

Qualifications

• Top Secret with eligibility to access SCI material.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with cloud and hybrid-cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization practices.
• Experience with patch management, automation, and enterprise security controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain highly available systems across enterprise environments.
• Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
• Implement and optimize system reliability, performance, and security controls.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture through secure infrastructure management practices.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to systems administration teams.
• Promote standardization of system configurations and operational procedures.
• Lead system optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor system health and resolve issues to ensure continuous availability.
