Job summary

cloudIT, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide advanced technical support and mentor Tier 1 specialists. You will diagnose complex issues, handle escalations, and support core Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.

You will also deploy system solutions, ensure strong client communication, maintain documentation, and contribute to disaster recovery and security efforts while pursuing continuous learning and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a technical support or systems specialist role.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals (MS-900, AZ-900).
• Associate-level certifications (e.g., Microsoft AZ-801/AZ-104 or CompTIA Network+) within a year.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to Tier 1 Service Specialists.
• Diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions during escalations.
• Support core business applications, virtualization, and network issues (WAN/LAN, switches, routers).
• Engineer and deploy system solutions with Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain clear client communication about incident progress and outages.
• Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for records.
• Help implement disaster recovery and maintain security controls.
• Pursue continuous learning and relevant certifications.
