Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or CS plus 4 years in information system security
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or CS with 2+ years in information system security or
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or CS or PhD in Cybersecurity, IT, or CS
• In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of info security experience with RMF/ JSIG frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead virtualization management: VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter lifecycles
• Lead Windows endpoint administration and patching
• Assist with system architecture for new programs and lifecycle
• Manage firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security
• Define Active Directory and GPOs; implement security standards like STIGs
• Monitor system health and optimize resources
• Manage backup and disaster recovery operations
• Automate tasks with PowerShell/CLI
• Install and troubleshoot Windows engineering software
• Create documentation for ongoing workflows; collaborate with engineers
