Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator for the Intelligence Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The role focuses on hands-on administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mission-critical Linux and Windows infrastructure in secure environments.

Candidates should have strong Linux administration, networking, virtualization, storage, and security skills to support DoD-grade systems. This position requires the ability to operate in a high-trust, classified setting and to work

Qualifications

• Seven years of System Administrator experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues ranging from the operating system through the application layer.
• Linux Server Administration: Install, configure, patch, upgrade, secure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/ Rocky Linux/ CentOS).
• Core Infrastructure Services: Configure and maintain core enclave infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, domain services, identity management).
• Virtualization & Infrastructure Support: Deploy and support virtualized and containerized environments while managing compute, storage, networking, and system resources.
• Network & Storage Administration: Support storage platforms, network connectivity, system interfaces, and related infrastructure; troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues.
• Security & Compliance: Maintain systems per SSPs and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Classified Environment Support: Provide day-to-day admin support in classified environments.
