Take2 Consulting LLC seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to provide technical and engineering support across the full system lifecycle in a mission-focused environment. The role covers design, integration, deployment, sustainment, and modernization of complex IT systems and services.

The position is onsite in Suitland, MD, requires an Active Secret Clearance, and involves administering Windows and Linux servers, VMware, AD/DNS/DHCP, and security controls (STIG/NIST).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise systems administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
• VMware or similar virtualization platforms experience.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts.
• Automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800-53, STIGs, RMF).
• Ability to work in classified / federal environment.
• Familiarity with Red Hat Linux, Trusted Linux, Windows 10, VMware.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server and/or Linux enterprise environments.
• Manage VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy (GPO).
• Support NOC activities and incident response.
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Execute patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Implement and maintain STIG/DISA security controls.
• Document system changes and follow change management processes.
• Support 24x7 high-availability environments with escalation duties.
