Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Technology team in Dallas/Fort Worth, supporting NBC5, T39, and Arthouse. You will implement and support technology and users within our mission-critical media production and enterprise IT environment, collaborating with a high-performing team at the forefront of media technology.

The role requires hands-on technical problem solving, incident response, and adherence to security standards, with onsite work and occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, radio, television & film, or related fields or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work in Dallas/Fort Worth just south of DFW airport.
• Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours, including weekends with short notice.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be covered by NBCU’s ADR program

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, plan, and implement technical and workflow solutions for News, Production, and Creative Services partners.
• Administer media production applications, systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability of technology and operations.
• Develop and maintain system documentation for operational and troubleshooting purposes.
• Provide technical support, incident response, and customer communication.
• Ensure compliance with NBCUniversal cyber security policies and standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
