Job summary

Global IT Investors Inc dba TechnoVal Alliance in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator II to support a highly available hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises Windows and Linux servers and cloud environments.

The role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable enterprise infrastructure, enabling connectivity between cloud and on-prem resources, and contributing to modernization, automation, and migrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Windows and Linux server experience.
• 5+ years in hybrid infrastructure, cloud services, or migrations.
• Strong HA architectures and redundancy knowledge.
• 5+ years with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• 5+ years with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-enabled infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Experience linking on-premises and cloud resources.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching fundamentals.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring/alerting platforms (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Security Onion, WhatsUp Gold).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Secure connectivity between cloud and on-prem data centers.
• Participate in database replication and migration initiatives.
• Patching, configuration updates, automated deployments, and performance tuning.
• Manage F5 BIG-IP traffic managers, VPNs, and SSL profiles.
• Assist Palo Alto firewall administration and NAT rules.
• Collaborate with network teams on routing, switching, DNS, and load balancing.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs.
• Support incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Perform vulnerability management and remediation.
• Support new deployments, upgrades, cloud initiatives, and automation projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for reliable services.
