Job summary

Dekko in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to deploy, administer, and maintain our server infrastructure, enterprise network, and core business systems. You’ll work under the IT Director to ensure reliability, security, and performance.

As a senior technical resource, you will partner with developers, infrastructure staff, and business stakeholders to apply industry standards and best practices, keeping systems current and secure.

Qualifications

• Progressive systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 4+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and optimize LAN/WAN for high availability and performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments and Active Directory including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Administer Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, licensing and security controls.
• Maintain network and endpoint security, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Support SQL Server, virtualization, and endpoint protection platforms, partnering with the team.
• Lead escalation and mentor junior staff, providing senior technical guidance.
• Keep management informed of project status and progress.
