Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance enterprise technology infrastructure across offices. You’ll ensure reliability, security, and performance of systems, networks, and cloud platforms while delivering advanced technical support for critical operations.

Work with the Director of Technology in a hands-on role balancing operations with projects, partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors to provide secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience administering enterprise systems and network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and cloud infra.
• Experience supporting users across multiple office locations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while maintaining customer service.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and security.
• Monitor system health and performance across multiple offices.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues for office and remote users.
• Coordinate internet service installations, upgrades, and vendor escalations.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and cloud infra.
• Support servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and cloud services.
• Lead infrastructure projects and document configurations and changes.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT leadership on strategic initiatives.
