Job summary

Base-2 Solutions in Dayton, OH is seeking a Systems Administrator 4 to maintain applications, services, microservices, and PaaS in a mission-focused environment supporting intelligence analysts and operators. The role requires strong O&M leadership, patching, backups, RMF/SSP involvement, STIGs, and CI/CD practices with GitLab familiarity.

Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required, along with DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• DoD 8570 compliant with IAT Level II or IAM Level II.
• Experience with RMF for DoD/DIA.
• SOA interdependencies knowledge.
• Linux (CentOS) environments.
• Oracle environments.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems in networked environments.
• Lead day-to-day O&M activities including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Support backups and recovery activities with testing.
• Monitor accounts and administer access.
• Provide Tier 1/2 incident identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Communicate status to government and internal customers; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate system and hardware issue dispatch and resolution.
• Assist with training government users on applications.
• Review documentation, witness testing, and report IV&V results.
• Configure UNIX and Windows operating systems and related software.
