Job summary

Swift is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a mission-focused program in Herndon, VA. The role supports Linux and Windows servers, Oracle databases, DNS, and domain controllers, with emphasis on security and patching as directed by ISSM.

You will monitor logs, back up data, and assist with hardware/software acquisitions while ensuring licenses are renewed. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of configuration and systems management experience, a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, and a US

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in configuration management and systems administration.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
Experience managing Linux, Windows, Oracle DB, DNS, Domain controllers and storage hardware.
Experience designing and implementing Windows domains.
US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

Monitor system logs and applications, automate where possible.
Back up data and conduct data archiving as agreed with customer.
Perform system hardening of Linux and Windows systems per security principles.
Maintain servers including Windows, Linux, Oracle DB, Apache and DNS servers and domain controllers.
Apply patches promptly as defined by ISSM and ensure licenses are renewed.
