Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an IT systems or infrastructure role.
• Experience with Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and common desktop applications.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing, incident, change, project, and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and monitor physical and virtual servers to ensure high availability and reliable system performance.
• Implement and maintain security controls including patches, access management, antivirus, and compliance‑driven standards.
• Manage backups and disaster recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and rapid service restoration when needed.
• Monitor CPU, memory, disk, and network performance using system monitoring tools.
• Automate OS updates, patching, and software upgrades.
• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and permissions based on security policies.
• Respond to service desk tickets related to servers, applications, and end‑user devices.
• Validate and test scheduled backups to ensure successful restores.
• Review firewall, IDS, and antivirus logs and escalate security concerns as needed.
• Configure and fine‑tune server settings to align with application requirements.
• Act on monitoring alerts related to resource usage or service failures.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
