Job summary

Air Apps in San Francisco is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our corporate IT infrastructure and SaaS tools, ensuring a secure and efficient work environment. You will oversee device management, network security, access control, and IT support across the organization, applying security best practices and automation to scale operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT administration, hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure, and IAM

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT administration or IT support.
• Experience with cloud-based corporate IT environments (Google Workspace, M365, AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with IAM tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
• Knowledge of endpoint management solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji).
• Familiarity with network security, VPNs, firewalls, zero-trust models.
• Experience with IT automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Strong problem solving in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure including SaaS apps and cloud services.
• Oversee user access, provisioning, and identity management across platforms.
• Ensure network security, endpoint protection, and data encryption policies.
• Monitor and optimize hardware and software performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Implement IT security best practices including MFA and RBAC.
• Maintain company-wide SaaS tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian).
• Onboard/offboard employees by managing accounts.
• Automate IT operations and system monitoring to improve efficiency.
• Maintain software licenses, compliance, and IT documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to employees.
