Job summary

Authentic8 is seeking a seasoned System Administrator II to oversee endpoint and SaaS platform support for a hybrid workforce. This hands-on role focuses on provisioning, securing, and maintaining systems for daily operations.

You will drive improvements across Jamf Pro, Intune, Azure, and VMware vCenter, while managing AD/DNS/DHCP and IAM/RBAC in a security-first environment in Redwood City.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems administration (macOS, Windows, mobile)
• Proficient in macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android
• 5+ years with MDM (Jamf Pro and/or Intune) and cloud identity (Okta/Azure AD)
• Automation scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience building and configuring Windows Server environments (VMs or bare metal)

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain macOS, Windows, and mobile endpoints
• Administer cloud platforms: Azure, GCP, Google Workspace, Okta
• Build, maintain, secure on-premises and virtual servers (Windows Server 2019/2022, Linux) using VMware vCenter
• Manage and improve MDM: Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune
• Package and deploy software to Apple and Microsoft devices
• Administer Active Directory — GPO, DNS, DHCP, domain controllers
• Provide end-user support for laptops, mobile devices, SaaS tools, authentication systems
• Manage Azure VMs, networks, storage, IAM/RBAC
• Troubleshoot network and Wi-Fi issues
• Oversee infrastructure backups
• Document configurations and IT workflows
