We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with CICS experience to remotely support our federal customer located in Clarksburg, WV. Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
2. Ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the managed systems meet user needs.
3. Primary responsibility is the operations and maintenance of the legacy NCIC mainframe (IBM z14) infrastructure, compute, and storage platform.
4. Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of z/OS operating system, CICS, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM Products and Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, BMC Product Suite.
5. System monitoring and reporting.
6. Performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning.
7. Implementing and managing Pervasive Encryption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Active Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with IBM z14 hardware.
• Experience with CICS is required.
• Experience with z/OS operating system, DB2, IBM products, Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, and BMC suite is preferred.
